THUNDERING DON (Amyn Merchant) was extremely fractious and broke the stalls and bolted. On examination after apprehending the horse, it was found to have sustained a bleeding cut injury on its gum. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Order.

It was observed that the saddle on I FANCY YOU (G. Adarsh) shifted towards the right totally unbalancing the rider thereby dislodging the rider within about 50 Metres of the start. AMAZING COLOUR (Ahsan Qureshi) which was travelling directly behind hit the rider of the prostrated horse. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that an enquiry would be held into the above incident with particular reference to the saddling of the horse.

SOUTHERN IMAGE (Afsar Khan) planted and did not take any practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of SOUTHERN PEARL, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to THE FIRST BULLET (S. Mallikarjun) on his inside which in turn passed it on to SACHIMORE (M. Noornabi) along the rails approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of THE FIRST BULLET, was reprimanded for inconveniencing SACHIMORE (M. Noornabi) on his outside approaching the 250 Metres.

Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of THE FIRST BULLET, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive and improper use of the whip on his mount in the final 300 Metres (2nd infringement) whereby he could not exercise control over his mount inconvenienced SACHIMORE (M. Noornabi) on his outside.
