Racing Incidents

There were two objections in this race. The first objection was by Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of SUDDEN MAGIC placed Second by the Judge against Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of DECORATED, placed First for "coming in sharply in the last 150 Metres whereby my horse had clipped his heels and stumbled causing me momentarily unbalanced and had to check my mount whereby costing a certain winning place".

The second objection was by Jockey Vivek, the rider of HATCHET HARRY, placed Third by the Judge against Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of DECORATED placed First for "near the 300 Metres when my horse was about to move he blocked my passage and lost about 5 lengths which cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule both the objections.

Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of DECORATED, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not maintaining a straight course at 300 Metres and passing 200 Metres.
