Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw SENOR SPEEDY (Vinod Shinde), on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right hind due to sprained quarters. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

As Jockey N. Ganesh was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 4th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey R.Anand to ride TAKE MY WORD in place of the declared rider.

SOUND BET (A. Ramu) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of JACK O LANTERN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to INSPIRATOR (Vivek) on his inside which in turn passed it on to BEAUTIFUL DANCER (M. Kumar) in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of SUNSTORM, placed 2nd by the Judge objected against Jockey N. Rajesh, the rider of KARISINI placed 1st for "at the 900 Metres the winner came on to me and tightened me whereby I had to check my horse and I got unbalanced and hit the saddle and lost considerable ground which cost me the race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey N. Rajesh, the rider of KARISINI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a proper course passing the 900 Metres.

GUNPOWDER (Mudassar Nazar) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar who was unable to attend the races.
