Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw AILSA (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on left hind due to sprained fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

METHODICAL (R. Vaibhav) was extremely fractious in the starting gates and on examination it was found to have sustained cut injuries on left and right hock, bleeding cut injury on left hind cannon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of THE SENATOR, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
