Racing Incidents
Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of CHAMPAGNE ON ICE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to INDEPENDENCE DAY (P.S. Chouhan) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
 
Jockey Harish, the rider of I FANCY YOU, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SEGOMO (S. Chetan Kalay) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
 
Jockey S. John, the rider of CUTE ANGEL, was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing NEEL GAGAN (R. Vaideeshwaran) on his inside passing the 600 Metres.
 
Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of CHAMPAGNE ON ICE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for the improper use of the whip on his mount whereby he could not exercise control over his mount and caused interference to STAR CREST (C. Henrique) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres.
 
Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of CHAMPAGNE ON ICE reported that his mount was not galloping fluently during the race as such he had to ease his mount in the last 150 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
 
It was reported after the race that the left fore shoe on CUTE ANGEL (S. John) had apparently splayed during the race.
 
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g INDEPENDENCE DAY.
