Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal to substitute Jockey S. John to ride MEGHALAYA In place of Jockey Fr'co F DaSilva the declared rider.

MOUNTAIN RANGE (Naushad Alam) was extremely fractious, reared up inside the starting gate and was stuck for a considerable period of time and also sustained cut injury on right fore cannon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath Gowda was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

YAMAS (D. Gnaneshwar) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
