Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao to withdraw INDIAN (S. Shiva Kumar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

RAJA’S PET (A.R. Pradeep) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of SHADES OF SCARLET, was fined Rs.3,000/-for not making sufficient effort to improve his position between the 400 Metres and 200 Metres.

Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of RAJA’S PET, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out HATCHET HARRY (M. Kumar) which in turn passed it on to ANOTHER VOICE (M.D. Praveen) rounding the final bend.

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of ASTONISHING, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SUPERIOR EDGE (K. Raja Rao) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.
