Racing Incidents

 

An enquiry is being held into the interference caused by Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of SMOOTH GLIDER to the horses on his inside SUN DIVINE (R. Vaideeshwaran), QUICK ENOUGH (Liam P. Jones) and BRYANT PARK (Y.S. Srinath) passing the 900 Metres.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of YOUREWINDSOFCHANGE, on questioning stated that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the last race that the horse had burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy). Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CECIL (R. Vaibhav) sustained cut injury on right knee.
