Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to withdraw NARNIA on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained suspensory ligament. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

As Jockey Tauseef Ahmed was certified medically unfit to ride permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to substitute Jockey R. Anand to ride COOL HAND in place of the declared rider.

DECCAN CHARGERS (D. Gnaneshwar) slipped from the hind while jumping out and lost a few lengths at the start.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ARTIC BREEZE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to FASHION FLAME (Shobhan Babu) on his outside rounding the final bend.
Jockey D. Patel, the rider of SILVER STREET, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to ALL CLEAR (Mudassar Nazar) on his outside passing the 950 Metres.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of STARSTRUCK, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight thereby inconveniencing FASHION FLAME (Shobhan Babu) on his inside passing the 400 Metres. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of SPIRITUAL STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly looking back in the final 200 Metres of the race for no apparent reason.

FASHION FLAME (Shobhan Babu) sustained cut injury on right knee.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SPIRITUAL STAR.
