Racing Incidents

Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of WHITE SNOWDROPS, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar and Jockey Y.S. Srinath were questioned regarding the poor performance of ANOTHER VOICE. The trainer stated that (a) his charge was working well in the morning trials; (b) it was running in a relatively poor company; (c) as such at the instance of the owner of the horse he declared a better rider; (d) but ….. to his expectation it performed very poorly in the race. The rider while corroborating the statement of the trainer added that he had got this ride just before the declarations and he did his best but the response from the horse was poor. Their explanations were noted.
