Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to substitute Jockey T.S. Jodha to ride ISLE OF FIRE in place of Jockey D. Gnaneshwar the declared rider.

INDIAN PRIDE (5. Babu) after jumping out swerved towards the left and did not take any part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji was questioned regarding the running of his charge AMALFI in the above race

The Trainer stated that the :

a) horse was running after a long time as it suffered from fracture and joint problems.

b) fitness was obtained only three weeks ago c) horse worked quite well

d) horse must have become favourite based on the previous performance

The explanations were noted and the Trainer was informed to be careful with running of his charges in the future.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of YOURE GORGEOUS trained by Mr. Pradeep Annaiah and ridden by Jockey B. Harish in the above race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g GAGAN STAR.
