Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of MR CARPE, reported that he could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the starting gates due to crowding of the field.

RAPHIRE (A. Vishwanath) planted, lost many lengths at the start and ran detached from the field thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of WILL STAR, reported that his mount abruptly stopped galloping after entering the straight.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again

Jockey Dashrat Singh, the rider of ETHOPHIAN, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 900 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of ABSOLUTE MAJORITY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to CAPE FERRAT (Y.S. Srinath) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.

It was reported after the race that the right fore shoe of SECRET PUNCH (B. Mahesh) had apparently come off during the race.

IRON MARSHALL (K.P.G. Appu) sustained cut injury on right fore cannon.
