SUPER SURPRISE (A. Vishwanath) planted and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in Two Mock Races on race days on the race track.

Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of AMAZON BAY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1^st infringement).

Jockey B. Mahesh, the rider of ATLAS POWER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for exulting in the last 100 Metres of the race.

Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of ACTIVE GREY reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination.  On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was reported after the last race that it was found to have burst its blood vessels (endoscopy – Grade III) at 6.25 pm and also sustained bleeding cut injury on right hind pastern. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ATLAS POWER.
