ROMANTIC KING (K. Anil) was slowly away, lost few lengths at the start and ran detached thereafter.  In view of its behavior Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey B. Harish, the rider of CARBONADO reported that he lost his whip passing the 250Metres.

ROMANTIC KING (K. Anil) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of FOREST TERN, reported that he could not get a clear run in the final stages of the race.  

An enquiry was held into the running and riding of GOOD FRUIT trained by Mr. B. Prithvirajand ridden by Jockey J.H. Christopher. Jockey Christopher said that the filly was a little slow to move when the gates were released and thereafter kept throwing its head in the air racing ungenerously.  He added that in the straight GOOD FRUIT made ground under his riding but kept holding her head up high.  Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj said the horse has a habit of doing this in track work and he has experimented with various bits Mr. Prithviraj was told to rectify this trait before starting GOOD FRUIT again. The filly was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
