VIOLENT STORM (Imran Chisty) dipped at the start.

AMAZING DESIRE (M. Prabhakaran) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Chief Veterinary Officer reported that it pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S. Chetan Kalay and Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahesh were questioned regarding the running and handling of NATIVE INDIAN. Trainer Mahesh instructed Chetan Kalay to be in a good position. Jockey when questioned why he looked back at the 800 Metres and 750 Metres said he heard a rider call and did not have an explanation why he looked to the inside at the 300 Metres. His reason for allowing the field to get away from him between 800 Metres and home turn was he intended to save NATIVE INDIAN for the straight. Jockey Chetan Kalay was informed that he is to show more initiative in future and his ride was unsatisfactory. Jockey Chetan Kalay was fined Rs.3,000/-.

It was reported after the 4th race at 3.50 p.m. that LOVEOFMYLIFE (Yash Narredu) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade III). Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
