ALECIA (Arshad Alam) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced TICKLES (Shiva Kumar S) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

At the start KINGS KID (Vivek) and RICH REVIVAL (T.S. Jodha) brushed.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of POWER AND STRENGTH, reported that his mount was inclined to run out between the 1000 Metres till about rounding the final bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Faraz Arshad was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ALECIA, reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of DEL MARCO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SECRET PRAYER (Kiran Rai P) which caused ALECIA (Arshad Alam) to be checked on the outside passing the 150 Metres.

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of AMANDA reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. V Lokanath was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ALECIA placed 4th by the Judge objected against Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of SECRET PRAYER, placed 2nd for "in the last 150 Metres SECRET PRAYER shifted out bumped and unbalanced me whereby I had to stop riding which cost me a certain 3rd race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to over rule the objection.

SECRET PRAYER (Kiran Rai P) sustained gum injury.
