ZUCCHERO (Suraj Narredu) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SAGRADA (V.R. Jagadeesh) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left hind. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was questioned regarding the inconsistent performance of his charge JERSEY WONDER (P. Trevor) in the above race in relation to Race No.57 of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2016-17 where it ran last. Trainer stated that:

a)    He had removed blinkers and put on cross nose band and tongue strap

b)    that his charge had run with superior horses in its previous start and even though he finished last his charge was within 5 to 6 lengths from the winner.

c)    he had given enough time i.e., about three weeks from its previous start, for his charge to run.

His explanations were noted for future reference.

MULTI APP (Irvan Singh) planted and did not take any practical part in the race. Trainer Mr.Darius R. Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

LIGHT OF MAGIC (P.S. Chouhan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g JERSEY WONDER.
