Racing Incidents

Jockey S. John, the rider of JERSEY WONDER was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to STAR FORMATION (Imran Chisty) and TINTINNABULATION (P. S. Chouhan)  on his inside, within the first 150 Meters of the race.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was questioned into the manner of running of his charge BOOKER JONES (David Allan) in the above race. The Trainer states that:

(a)  its a free running horse.

(b) it does not like its stride to be broken.

(c) Keeping that in mind, he had instructed his rider not to check his mount as it has a tendency to shift out, in case if he finds himself in front. He further said was satisfied with Jockey David Allan’s riding in the above race.

His explanations were noted.

CAMERON (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g JERSEY WONDER.
