Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.D. M. David to withdraw KHAYYAM on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right hind limb. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Darius R. Byramji to withdraw LA DONA on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right hind due to inflamed hock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S. John, the rider of SMILE STONE was fined Rs.2,000/- for not drawing the declared weight on the scales. Subsequently permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to declare Jockey Bhawani Singh to ride SMILE STONE in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of MULTITUDE weighed 'in' 300 grams in excess in relation to weighing 'out'. When enquired he informed that the surcingle had been changed by the trainer. Hence, Trainer Mr. Vijay Singh was fined Rs.2,000/- for not obtaining prior permission to change the equipment.

AURIGA (P. S. Chouhan) accidentally stumbled soon after the start.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of MULTITUDE reported that he accidently lost his whip passing the 200 Meters.

It was reported after the race that AURIGA (P. S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

FIRE GLOW (Prashant P.Dhebe) sustained superficial injury on both hock.
