Racing Incidents

Jockey Rayan Ahmed. R replaced the indisposed Jockey Sunil Samson on EPONA.

An enquiry is being held into the fall of Jockey Surya P. (KIRAATHAKA) rounding the final bend in the above race.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of INCITATUS was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NEW ERA (A. Imran Khan) passing the 250 Metres.

Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of HIGH VOLTAGE was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to NEW ERA (A. Imran Khan) passing the 250 Metres and further shifting out and causing interference to INCITATUS (A. Ramu) approaching 200 Metres.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of PEPPA was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

It was reported after the race that KIRAATHAKA (Surya.P) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr.Kishan Thomas was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m QUICK ACTION.
