Racing Incidents

DAUPHINE (PrashantP.Dhebe) reared up and flipped over on the way to the starting gates and was found to have sustained concussion on back. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr.Dheeraj. V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of IRIS was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing NOSTRADAMUS (Md.Akram) on his inside passing the 800 Metres.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of FEELING EASY reported that his mount was not galloping fluently in the final 300 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

It was reported after the race that IRIS (Anjar Alam) had apparently lost its right fore shoe during the race.

It was reported after the race that HALFSIES (Irvan Singh) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade IV). Trainer Mr.Darius R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that OPTIMISTICAPPROACH (Vivek) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CAPSTONE (Nazerul Alam) sustained deep injury on left hind outer bulb.

MUSIC DIVINE (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of STRIKING GREY, trained by Azhar Ali and ridden by Indrajeet Singh in the above race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f IRIS.
