FIRESTONE (Vishwanath A.) planted, after jumping out swerved towards the left, went onto the sand track and did not take any practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

MR HUMBLE (Manish R) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconveniencing CAPELLA (B. Nayak) on its inside at the start.

Jockey David Allan, the rider of HIGH PRIESTESS reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of QUEEN OF SANDS reported that his mount was lugging 'in' under pressure in the final 250 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey Bhanu P. Singh, the rider of RULER OF NATION was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan and Jockey Arshad Alam were questioned regarding running and riding of QUEEN OF SANDS. Trainer stated that:

(a)    He had instructed the Jockey to ride from 2nd,3rd or 4th position and do his best in the straight;
(b)    He had instructed the jockey to keep the whip on the left as the filly had a tendency to lug out in the morning track work.
(c)    That it was a first run of his charge and;
(d)    But in the race the horse lugged ‘in’ under pressure in the final 200 Metres and was hesitated to pass the winner.

The Jockey corroborated the statements of the trainer and their explanations were noted for future reference.

Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of SAINTHOOD was fined Rs.2,000/- for not improving his position from 800 Metres till about 500 Metres for no apparent reason.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ZHU ZHU ZEST.
