It was reported after the race that KIMERA (Arvind Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry was held into the unauthorized entry of an individual into the paddock along with trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh and owner Mr. Syed Muheeb before the start of the above race in respect of the runner ANOTHER RAINBOW. After due enquiry, Trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh was fined a sum of Rs.20,000/- for the negligence in discharge of his duties as a trainer, thereby contravening Rule No. 114 (b) (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing.
