Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of DREAM CHASER was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing SHERWIN (Suraj Narredu) on his outside approaching 900 Metres.

Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of NISUS was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing CAPITAL GAIN (Rayan Ahmed R.) on his inside passing the 700 Metres.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of JACK RYAN reported that his mount shied from SHERWIN (Suraj Narredu) in the final 50 Metres, whereby he shifted 'in' and inconvenienced ARLETTE (P. Trevor).
 
Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar and Jockey Suraj Narredu were questioned regarding running and riding of SHERWIN. The trainer stated that:

(a)    Since it was a first run of his charge, he had asked the jockey to ride his own race and do his best in the straight.
(b)    He also added that his charge did not take a smart jump was slightly lethargic;
(c)    He would have ideally liked his charge to be ridden from a forward position.

The Jockey while corroborating the statement of the trainer stated that:

(a)    He was inconvenienced passing the 900 Metres as such he had to travel wide from thereon;
(b)    His mount was running green, according to him it needed more distance and when he had worked the horse it had a habit of suddenly ducking into the gaps as such he was more cautious and used the whip in a back hand position.

Their explanations were noted for future reference.
