Racing Incidents

AUSTRALIS (P. Trevor) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

THE LIEUTENANT (K. Raja Rao) took a fly jump.

It was observed that Jockey Arul J.H., the rider of INTO THE GROOVE was dislodged from his mount after passing the winning post. On examination,  by the medical officer it was reported that Jockey Arul J.H. had dislocated his left shoulder. As Jockey Arul J.H. was disabled and could not be walked or carried to the scales. The Stipendiary Stewards in accordance of Rule No.177 (c) of the BTC Rules of Racing cleared the above race. An enquiry is being held into the incident.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BERNARDINI.
