Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was fined Rs.2,000/- for not obtaining prior permission for the use of Cross Nose Band on his charge DESERT COMBAT (Arshad Alam). Subsequently, Cross Nose Band was removed before the horse left paddock.

ANNIE'S SONG (Irvan Singh) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Neil B Devaney (is deputizing on behalf of Trainer Mrs. Parvati Byramji) was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Permission was granted to trainer M/s. Neil B.Devaney, M. Rajendra Singh and Rajesh Narredu to deputize on behalf of trainer M/s. Parvati Byramji, Azhar Ali and S. Narredu who were unable to attend the races.
