CAVALLINI (C.Umesh) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Irfan Ghatala was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
 
Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of MANIFEST was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing CAVALLINI (C.Umesh) on his outside approaching 500 Metres.

It was reported after the race that MANIFEST (A. Sandesh) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr.S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was questioned with regard to performance of his charge LAGARDE in the above race as compared to its previous race in Race No.22 of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2020-21 run on 14th November, 2020.

The trainer stated that:

a)    He had instructed the rider not to break its stride during the race as it was a big made horse and do his best in the straight;
b)    His charge had pulled up lame in its previous run;
c)    When he had scoped his charge after its previous run, it was found to have displaced its soft palate;
d)    The private veterinarian had advised him to use a Cross Nose Band on his charge due to the soft palate displacement; as such he opted to use a Cross Nose Band on his charge;
e)    His charge was supposed to run in a Mock Race on the 3rd of December, 2020, but the Mock Race got cancelled;
f)    As such he changed the work pattern and gave his charge more number of open canters keeping in mind the soft palate displacement and it had worked very well with Jockey Suraj Narredu in the final work out; and
g)    His charge weighed 7 kilos lesser than its previous start.

His explanations were noted for future reference.
