Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to withdraw HEAVENLY ANGEL (Chandrashekar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right hind. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
PARADISE BECKONS (P. Trevor) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found  to  be  trotting  lame  on  right  fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr.Sriram Komandur was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry was held on 27th January, 2021 by the Stipendiary Steward for  the above race into the interference caused by Jockey Darshan R.N. on his mount GOLDEN MEMORY in that he shifted ‘in’ dangerously and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside viz; IN A BREEZE (Suraj Narredu), which in turn went onto to ACTIVATED (Ryan Marshall) approaching 300 Metres, and he further shifted ‘in’ under the use of whip and continued to hamper the running of IN A BREEZE (Suraj Narredu) on his inside between the 200 Metres and 150 Metres.

Jockey Darshan R.N. was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Darshan R.N. and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey Darshan
R.N. for Dangerous Riding.

The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Darshan R.N. with effect from 5th February, 2021 to 27th February, 2021 (both days inclusive) and fined him a sum of Rs.20,000/- as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Dangerous Riding on his mount GOLDEN MEMORY (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
