It was observed that ROYAL GLORY (Ranjeet Singh) was inclined to run out between the 800 Metres to 700 Metres.

Jockey S. Hussain, the rider of BESUGE reported that he had to steady his mount approaching 700 Metres.

It was observed that OOH LA LA (D. Patel) was inclined to run out between the 800 Metres to 700 Metres.

Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan and Jockey S.A. Gray were questioned regarding running and riding of FORTUNATUS. Jockey stated that:

(a)    He was instructed to ride from a handy position;

(b)    Get a cover and pull out and do his best in the straight;

(c)    He rode as per instructions but his mount was lugging out under pressure in the final 200 Metres, he also made an effort to change his whip hand and tried to keep it on an even keel, but it could only finish 3rd.

The Trainer while corroborating the statements of the Jockey add that he felt that his horse needs a longer distance.Their explanations were noted for future reference.
 
FORTUNATUS(S. A. Gray) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b c FORTUNATUS. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g YUKAN.
