GENERAL PATTON (Khurshad Alam) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.M. Rajendra Singh was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey Salman Khan, the rider of GALACTICAL reported that he had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner GENERAL PATTON (Khurshad Alam) passing the 900 Metres.
 
Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of QUEEN SPIRIT was fined Rs.10,000/- for coming 'in' and tightening MILLBROOK (S. Saqlain), whereby MILLBROOK (S. Saqlain) suddenly veered out violently, thereby taking out the horses on his outside viz; CROWN    CONSORT    (Suraj    Narredu), MYSTIC    EYE    (K.G.    Likith    Appu) and EXTRAORDINARY (K. Sai Kiran) approaching 800 Metres (the worse suffer being CROWN CONSORT).

In view of the unpredictable behaviour of MILLBROOK (S. Saqlain), Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed to take necessary remedial measures and not accept with his charge MILLBROOK until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least two Mock Races.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of GOLDEN TIME was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort to improve his position between the 1100 Metres till about 600 Metres.

Jockey K. Sai Kiran, the rider of EXTRAORDINARY was reprimanded for travelling wide from 600 Metres till about 300 Metres for no apparent reason.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of CROWN CONSORT was questioned regarding his riding in the above race. The Jockey stated that:

a)    His mount had a setback & come back from a spelling from Kunigal Stud Farm;
b)    He opined that since the horse was running after a long time it may have underperformed;
c)    He also added that he was interfered passing the 800 Metres in the above race as such his mount did not perform up to its potential.

His explanations were noted for future reference.

CROWN CONSORT (Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

GOLDEN TIME (Vinod Shinde) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b f CROWN CONSORT. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SMITHSONIAN.
