As Jockey S. Antony Raj was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr.Arjun Mangalorkar to declare Jockey P. Trevor to ride SPRINGSTEEN in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Tousif Khan, the rider of SMILE OF BEAUTY was fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to THE GALLERY TIME (Naveen M.) on his outside soon after the start.

Jockey R. Robert, the rider of VAYU was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'in' and tightening the horses on his inside viz; STEP TO DESTINY (Suhas. K) and THE GALLERY TIME (Naveen M.) approaching 1000 Metres.

Jockey Tousif Khan, the rider of SMILE OF BEAUTY was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing PROPHECY (A. Sandesh) on his outside in the final 100 meters.

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Suhas.K, the rider of STEP TO DESTINY in the above race. In that he did not exercise sufficient control on his mount thereby allowing his mount to shift ‘in’ causing severe interference to THE GALLERY TIME (Naveen M.) on his inside, who
 
had to check his mount & shift out and inconveniencing VAYU (R. Robert) approaching 1000 meters.

Jockey Suhas.K was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Suhas.K and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey Suhas.K for Careless Riding.

The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Suhas.K for two (2) race days of BWM 2024-25 i.e., 04/01/2025 and 10/01/2025 as he had pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount STEP TO DESTINY (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
