An objection was lodged by Jockey Rajendra Singh the rider of SIMPLY CLEVER placed fourth by the judge against jockey Prashant P.Dhebe (FJORD) the winner .“The winner Prashant P.Dhebe from the 250 meters to the winning post was shifting out onto me ,bumped me and forced me out whereby i could not ride out and lost a certain race “
The Stewards after interviewing the Jockeys concerned, viewing the CCTV replay of the race a couple of times decided to uphold the Objection and disqualify the winner FJORD (Prashant P.Dhebe) ,the revised order of placings was as under:

1). DEL SANTO (Md.Hesnain)
2). EXTREME LOVE (Shahar Babu)
3). SIMPLY CLEVER (Rajendra Singh)
4). MERCHANT OF VENICE (C.A.Brisson).

 FJORD (Prashant P.Dhebe) was observed to be hanging out despite jockey’s best efforts and forced out SIMPLY CLEVER (Rajendra Singh) from about 350 meters to the winning post. Trainer Craig Marshall who was deputising for Trainer M.Eshwer was advised to take remedial measures and show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before accepting with it again.

PENTAGRAM (Saddam Hussain) and GOLDEN LILLY (Noorshed Alam) burst their blood vessels after the race. Trainer Fahad Khan and Trainer B.Suresh were advised to get their respective charges certified fit by the Club’s Senior Veterinary Officer before accepting with their charges again.
