CUSTODIAN (S.Stephan Raj) fly jumped losing a length or two at the start.

HIGHLAND LIGHT (R.Rayan Ahmed) was slow to start losing about two lengths.

Trainer N.Govindarajan was fined a sum of Rs.1000/- for parading his charge AMAZING KNIGHT (Afasr Khan) with a CROSS NOSE BAND, prior permission for which had not been obtained. The CROSS NOSE BAND was removed before the horse left the paddock.

Trainer Fahad Khan was questioned regarding the reversal of form in respect of his charge AMIGOS (Saddam Hussain) who won the race within a week. Trainer Fahad Khan stated that though he was not present on the race day, however, the instructions were to hit the front as he felt that the horses does not pass other horses and in his previous race which was 1000 metres his horse could not hit the front. In this race the jockey was able to sit in a forward position and took the lead passing the 700 metres and came out and won.

Trainer was informed that since he was well aware that his charge does not pass other horses if he doesn’t hit the front and was well aware that in 1000 meters his horse will not be able to hit the front and will not be able to perform well, and  thereafter run his charge in a 1200 meters race where it showed an improvement of over 10 lengths compared to the common runner ORANGE PEKOE (A.Ayaz Khan), explanation tendered by trainer Fahad khan not being satisfactory trainer Fahad Khan was therefore fined a sum of Rs.10,000/- for showing vast improvement in a very short span of time.
