Racing Incidents

Trainer J.Sebastian was fined a sum of Rs.1000/- for parading his charge CLASSY LASSY (Noorshed Alam) in the paddock without Blinkers. The equipment was put on before the mare left the paddock.

AMAZING STAR (A.Ayaz Khan) [drawn 5] soon after jumping out tried to swerve in due to which the jockey lost his balance and lost both his iron stirrups which he regained at about the 800 metres, mock race advised.

Passing the 300 metres PETUNIA (Kiran Naidu) could not get a clear run and about the 200 metres the filly stumbled and thereafter the jockey stopped riding.

The Senior Veterinary officer reported that CABERNET (P.P.Dhebe) burst her blood vessel duing the race. Trainer Craig Marshall was advised to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Senior Veterinary officer before accepting with it again.
