REGAL ACCOLADE was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds (Suffering from COLIC). Trainer Saddam Iqbal was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Senior Veterinary Officer before accepting with his charge again.

ORLANDO BABY (Md.Farhan Alam) planted and took no practical part in the race. SSC revoked. Trainer K.S.Mandanna was asked to show his charge at the gates to the Starters satisfaction before accepting with it again.

Trainer G.S.Parmar the trainer of ABSOLUTELYGORGEOUS (A.M.Alam) was fined a sum of Rs.5,000/- for coming late to the paddock to give the instructions to his jockey .

Jockey Zulquar Nain the rider of OLE was reported to the Stewards for weighing in 2.5 Kgs more than the weight he weighed out at i.e weighed out and at 57Kgs weighed in at 59.5 Kgs. When questioned by the Stewards the jockey had no explanation to offer, trainer P.Krishna when questioned stated that he had not changed any equipment of the saddle.

The Stewards disqualified OLE (Zulquar Nain) placed 6th by the judges and declared COUNTRY’S Storm (K.V.Bhaskar) as the 6th place horse. The Stewards further directed the Stipendiary Stewards to enquire into the matter and to report after the last race.

Trainer and Jockey were both questioned again by the Stipendiary Stewards to which they repeated their earlier answers given before the Stewards. As Trainer P.Krishna had not replaced any equipment of the saddle no action was initiated against him, however jockey Zulquar Nain was reported to the Stewards for such action as may be deemed fit by the Stewards.

The Stewards interviewed Jockey Zulquar Nain and not being satisfied with his explanation decided to fine him a sum of Rs.5000/- and severely cautioned him for future.
