Racing Incidents

Trainer J.Sebastian was permitted to saddle ROYAL BLACK(C.A.Brisson) on behalf of Trainer B.Suresh at both Trainer’s risk and liability.

CALICO JACK (Shahar Babu) was slow to start losing about 2 to 3 lengths.

Jockey Md.Hesnain the rider of CERRADO was fined a sum of Rs.2,000/- for shifting in passing the 800 metres causing interference to VISION OF ROMANCE (Azfar Syeed) who dropped back.

EXCELLENT PHOENIX (Prashant P Dhebe) was inclined to hang out in the final stages of the race. Trainer Akbar Malick was advised to take remedial measures before accepting with it again.

CALICO JACK (Shahar Babu) broke a blood vessel, Trainer P.Krishna was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CERRADO (Md.Hesnain) broke a blood vessel, Trainer R.Foley was asked to get his charge certified fit by the
Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey K.Sai Kiran the rider of KNIGHT IN ARMOUR was reported to the Stewards for not being alert at the gates and not making any effort to facilitate the jump nor to improve position in the early stages of the race. The Stewards questioned jockey and not being satisfied with his explanation fined him a sum of Rs.25,000/- and cautioned him for future.
