Trainer M.M.Uthaiah was permitted to saddle CHENNAI CHAKRAM (C A Brisson) and CATELYN (C Umesh) on behalf of Trainer K. S. Mandanna at both Trainer's risk and liability.

CHENNAI CHAKRAM (C A Brisson) jumped awkwardly inwards onto EXCELLENT PHOENIX (Azfar Syeed) as the start was affected.

Apprentice Jockey Azfar Syeed, the rider of EXCELLENT PHOENIX was cautioned for shifitng out 100 metres after the start inconveniencing CHENNAI CHAKRAM (C A Brisson).

BREAKING BOUNDS (Nakhat Singh) got keen approaching the 1200 metres and had to be checked and in trying to control his mount shifted out forcing out CHENNAI CHAKRAM (C A Brisson) in the process, the incident being accidental no action was initiated.

EXCELLENT PHOENIX (Azfar Syeed) was observed to drop back from the 150 meters. Trainer Akbar Malick was asked to ensure better performance of his charge before next accepting with it,

KAPALUA (A Ayaz Khan) lacked initial speed and eventually dropped back passing the 300 meters trailing the field. Trainer Fazal-Ul-Rehman was asked to ensure that his charge was capable of running with the field before next accepting with it.

Jockey P Sai Kumar, the rider of NEVER AGAIN was cautioned for shifting out from his position of three wide of the inner railings at about the 300 meters and making the running from the outside when there was an opening along the inner railings.
