Racing Incidents

EXCELERATE (Shahar Babu) was trotting lame on right fore and therefore was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under the  Starter's  orders.  Trainer Fazal-Ul-Rehman was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it.

Trainer P.Krishna was fined Rs.2,000/- for failing to produce the declared colors at the scales in respect of his charge KINGOFTHEWORLD (P Ajeeth Kumar) . Subsequently All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Apprentice Jockey Azfar Syeed, the rider of SENTOSA was cautioned for unsettling himself and his mount in the initial stages of the race for no apparent reason.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the race that OSCARS THUNDER (Yash Narredu) lost right fore shoe and KINGOFTHEWORLD (P Ajeeth Kumar) lost left fore shoe during the race.

Jockey A M Alam, the rider of OCTAVIAN was fined a sum of Rs.5000/- for not making sufficient efforts on his mount. He was further informed that repetition of  similar  manner of riding will entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
