Racing Incidents

STAR TEMPLAR (Nakhat Singh) was slow to start losing about 3 lengths.

Jockey C A Brisson and Trainer Mr.B.Suresh were questioned regarding the running and riding of ROYAL CURRENCY. Trainer stated that his instructions were to hit the front and maintain a few lengths lead, Jockey corroborated the Trainer's instructions but stated that his mount was very keen from the start and despite him trying to sit against her for 250 metres after the start he could not settle her whereby she took the long lead from the 1400 metres onwards and got tired in the straight. Both the explanations were noted for future reference. Trainer Mr. B.Suresh was informed to take remedial measures before next accepting with his charge.

BRING IT ON (Shahar Babu) was observed to drop back passing the 900 metres and trailed the field thereafter.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner RENO STAR (Akshay Kumar).
