GLORIOUS DESTINY (T S Jodha) was observed to drop back passing the 700 metres despite jockey's efforts.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of DURANGO  was  fined  a  sum  of  Rs.2000/-  for  excessive  use of the whip(1st infringement) on his mount.

Trainer Mr.B.Suresh and Jockey Akshay Kumar were questioned regarding  the  running and riding of ROYAL CURRENCY. Jockey stated that his instructions were to hit the front which he had but was chased by HOPE AND GLORY (Rahul H) while negotiating the bend whereby on entering the straight his mount slowed down and stopped galloping. Trainer when questioned corroborated the instructions and stated that his charge stopped as soon  as HOPE AND GLORY approached her negotiating the bend whereby she stopped in the straight. Both the explanations were noted for future reference, further the Club's Veterinary Officer when asked to examine the mare reported that ROYAL CURRENCY (Akshay Kumar) was found to have EIPH (Gr IV) on endoscopic examination after the last race. Trainer Mr.B.Suresh was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it.

Routine Sample was  taken from the winner DURANGO (Arshad Alam) and Surprise sample was taken from ROYAL CURRENCY (Akshay Kumar).
