Jockey Akshay Kumar the rider of AUGUSTA was questioned regarding his riding in the initial stages of the race. Jockey stated that his mount threw its head at the start and despite efforts could not hit the front as instructed whereby he settled in 3rd or 4th position, not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of AUGUSTA he was fined a sum of Rs.5000/- for not making sufficient efforts to improve position in the initial stages of the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner DAZZLING PRINCESS (P P Dhebe).
