Racing Incidents

QUEEN OF FAME (C Umesh) planted, Starting Stall Certificate revoked, thereafter passing the 1300 metres had to be checked in order to prevent it from running into the front runners, but in the process shifted out and stumbled. Further Jockey reported that his mount was hanging in the final stages. The Club's Veterinary Officer when asked to examine the filly reported that no abnormalities were found.
 
WELCOME CHAKKARAM (Dharshan Antony) threw its head and jumped awkwardly as the start was affected.

The blinds used on ROYAL EMINENCE (Shahar Babu) were removed momentarily slowly resulting in the gelding losing about a length or two at the start.

Trainer Saddam Iqbal was questioned regarding the comparative performance of his charge AMAZING KITTEN (A Ayaz Khan) the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in race no 103.Trainer stated that the previous race was a 6-furlong race also his charge received checks on two occasions, whereas his charge in this race ran over 7 furlongs which suited it over a slower pace. The Trainer's explanation was noted.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner AMAZING KITTEN (A Ayaz Khan).
