Racing Incidents
An objection was lodged by Jockey Jai Parkash the rider of JOVIAL placed second by the Judge against Jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider GAME OF TALENT placed first by the Judge for the alleged interference in that “ for bumping and boring from 300 mts to 100 mts due to which I had to stop riding after receiving the check and that cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an inquiry immediately after the race, interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on their own observation of the race the Stewards could not be satisfied that an alteration to the placings could be justified, therefore they decided to overrule the objection and ordered the Security Deposit to be refunded.
