Racing Incidents
An objection was lodged by Jockey Rajinder the rider of RABI KOUNGA placed third by the judge against Jockey D K .Ashish the rider of ASHWA PRATAP placed second by the Judge for “ taking my ground around 300 mts whereby my mount was in momentum and intentionally looked to the inside horse and closed the gap and I had to check my mount and that cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an inquiry immediately after the race, interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on their own observation of the race the Stewards could not be satisfied that an alteration to the placings could be justified, therefore they decided to overrule the objection and ordered the Security Deposit to be refunded.
