Jockey  C S Jodha the rider of FEARLESS TIGER reported that his mount jumped out lethargic  as such it lost  sufficient grounds.

Trainer Mr.S.Nawab was  questioned regarding the indifferent pattern of running of his charge HAPPYGOLUCKY (Suresh Kumar) as compared to its last run in Race No.6. He stated that:-

i)           during the previous run he had instructed the jockey to hit the front and do his best, and today’s race his instruction were similar to its previous start.

ii)         He observed that in today’s race, his mount had gone to front handy and only in the last 100 mts his jockey had ridden out and had won the race.

iii)      In Race No.6, the jockey informed that he could not go to the front as instructed due to the “Going of the tract being soft”.

When questioned the reason for not informing the officials regarding   jockey failing to ride as per instruction in Race No.6, he presumed that that the Jockey had reported the matter. Not being satisfied with his explanation tendered by Trainer Mr.S.Nawab was fined a sum of Rs.5000/- for in consistent pattern of running of his charge in the above race.

COLONEL’S PRIDE (Narain Singh) jumped out awkwardly from the starting gates and refused to raise a fluent gallop. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr.Chandrapal Singh was informed to take corrective remedial measures before accepting in a race.

COLONEL’S PRIDE was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f HAPPYGOLUCKY in the presence of Trainer Mr. S.Nawab and sent for Analytical test.
