MYSTIC MIRACLE (Aqeed Waheed) and COLONEL’S PRIDE (Hashim Ali Khan) were very fractious and refused to be loaded into the Starting gates as such were withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. In consequence of MYSTIC MIRACLE & COLONEL’S PRIDE  were withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders no deduction on win or place was effected.

It was observed that the blindfold cloth which was used on UNICORN (D.K.Ashish) was not removed as the start was effected and only travelling after some time, the jockey removed the blindfold cloth. After questioning the Jockey D K Ashish stated that, The horse was very fractious inside the starting gates, and repeatedly trying to displace the blindfold whereby the handler twisted it into the bridle in order for a strong hold.As the start was effected, the handler pulled the blindfold, but it had come out only partially. After travelling for some time, he himself removed the blindfold.

He further added that UNICORN had run on fairly despite being the inconvenience caused.

Corroborating the statements of the Jockey, the Handler stated that he did his best to remove the blindfold cloth from the horse, but it came out only partially.

In the circumstances, it was of the opinion that it was more of accidental case and as such, no further action was taken.Approaching the 200 mts, LITTLE CUT (Suresh Kumar) shifted in under pressure  and bumping into the hind quarters of FUEL (Rajinder Saini) thereby Jockey Suresh Kumar losing his balance and was dislodged from his mount.

CANADIAN GOLD (Kaushal Kumar) jumped awkwardly out wards and refused to raise a fluent gallop for some time. In view of its behavior Trainer Mr.A.Khan was informed not to accept with his charge untill its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day on race track.

STARTERS REPORT

MYSTIC MIRACLE & COLONEL’S PRIDE  were fractious, behind the gate and reluctant to be stalled  inspite of all efforts as such were withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainers Zulfiqar Khan and Chandrapal were advised to give more gate practice and to be passed in a mock race.
