Trainer Mr.I.S.Parmar was questioned regarding the running of his charge LITTLE MASTER( Hashim Ali Khan) especially in the last 200 mts of the race. Trainer stated that even in the above race when the Jockey applied pressure on his charge drifted out but with the support of the  MASTER PIECE (S.A.Shah) on its outside it managed to run straight. This tendency of shifting out by his charge has started from the last 2/3 runs. His explanation was noted and advised him to take corrective remedial measures before accepting with it again in a race.

Jockey Suresh Kumar the rider of UNICORN was reported to the Stewards for deliberately dropping his whip in the last 300 mts of the race. The Stewards held an enquiry  after the last race and interviewed  Jockey Suresh Kumar. The  replay of the race was viewed.

After hearing the statements of Jockey Suresh Kumar considering recommendation of the  Stipendiary  Steward  and relying upon their own observations based on the replay of the CCTV the Stewards  held  Jockey Suresh Kumar  guilty to charge under Rule No.202 (i) of the RWITC Rules of Racing for improper practice in that  in the last 300 mts  of the race he deliberately dropped the whip.

After deliberations the Stewards decided to  suspend the Jockey’s licence to Jockey Suresh Kumar from riding in races from 17^th December,2011 to 10^th January,2012(both days inclusive)  for contravention of Rule No 202 (i) of the RWITC Rules of Racing.He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension and not permitted to ride in mock races. He was advised of his Right of Appeal. 

Jockey S A Shah the rider of MASTER PIECE was fined Rs.1000/- for the improper use of the whip and further fined a sum of Rs.1000/- for the excessive use of the whip during the race (1^st offence during the meeting)
