FACE OF FAITH (Ranjeet Singh) jumped out awkwardly bumping onto FLEET OF FEET (K.Sunny Kumar) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Gurpreet Singh the rider of FUEL was fined Rs.1000/- for the excessive use of the whip during the race (1^st offence during the meeting)

Jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider of FACE OF FAITH reported that his mount  was not galloping fluently in the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that no apparent abnormality.

Trainer Mr.Sartaj Singh was questioned regarding the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge thereby resulting in the  improved performance of his charge FUEL (Gurpreet Singh)  as compared to its last run in race No. 109  The Half A Crown Plate, For Indian Horses Rated 1-26 (Abt) 1200 Mts ran on 29^th November,2011 where it was unplaced. The trainer stated that:-

1. In the last run also he gave the similar instructions to ride it from the front bunch.
2. This time  his charge is running in 1600 mts, which is its distance.
3. After its last dismal performance  had changed the training tactics of his charge and gave two work out of 300 mts to freshen it up before entering it for race.

His explanation was noted for future running. However, while noting his explanations his attention was drawn to the Rules regarding “in and out running”.

The Club’s veterinary officer reported that PRETTY GIRL (Jai Parkash) and CLASSIC SPIRIT (Suresh Kumar) were returned lame on right fore  &  left fore  respectively after the race.  Trainers M/s.Rajinder  & Manbir Singh were informed not to accept with their charges till passed fit by the Club’ veterinary officer.
