An objection was lodged by Jockey Jai Prakash the rider of WARLORD placed second by the judge against jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider of REVENGEFUL KNIGHT placed first by the judge for “coming in sharply and bumping in at around 650 mtrs due to which his mount was almost unbalanced and was about to fall down.  After which his mount could not raise a proper gallop and that cost him certain race.” The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations,

considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on the observation of the race the Stewards were not satisfied that an alteration to the placings could not be justified. Therefore, they decided to overrule the objection. The Security deposit was refunded.

Jockey K. Sunny Kumar the rider of PRETTY GOOD was severely reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift out soon after jumping out of the starting gate thereby inconveniencing WARLORD (Jai Parkash) which passed it on to TRUSTED MAN (M.Chettri) which in turn passed it on to FUEL (Gurpreet Singh) on his out side.

An enquiry has been opened into the interference caused by Jockey K.Sunny Kumar the rider of  PRETTY GOOD  to WAR LORD (Jai Parkash) during the race.
