As Jockey S.Zervan could not able to reach in time due to transportation issue, hence permission was granted to Trainer Mr.A.Khan to substitute Jockey S.A.Shah to ride TEZ RAFTAR in place of Jockey S.Zervan the declared rider.

App.Jockey Danish Ali Khan the rider of I AM THE BEST reported that his mount  reared up as the start was effected and he  lost his whip nearing the 500 mts of the race.

App. Jockey Bipin Kumar the rider of MASTER YUNANI was severely reprimanded for riding an incompetent race.

Trainer Mr.Zulfiqar Khan and Jockey Shadab Khan were reported to the Stewards in relation to the running and riding of THE DUKES. The Stewards  interviewed Trainer Mr. Zulfiqar Khan and Jockey Shadab Khan  and  the CCTV replay of the race was viewed. The Trainer stated that :-

1. He  had instructed  jockey Shadab Khan to position 3^rd/4^th and do his best on entering the field .
2. He opined that the pace of the race was quite fast than anticipated, as such the jockey  could not follow the instructions.
3. From the  400 mts , the jockey has ridden to his ability and his charge had run a much better race by finishing 2^nd .
4. And that he is very much satisfied with the riding of jockey Shadab Khan.

The Jockey corroborating the statements of the Trainer concerned stated that under the circumstance he has ridden to his best ability.

After considering their explanation, and relying upon their own observations based on the replay of the CCTV the trainer and the jockey were informed that the Stewards were not fully satisfied with the explanation tendered. In the circumstances the Stewards were of the opinion that there was insufficient evidence to substantiate a charge. However, Jockey Shadad Khan was advised that he must ride in a manner so as not to arise query and to be mindful of not covering ground when there was an opportunity to do so.

THE DUKES was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s veterinary officer reported no apparent abnormality.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that MASQUERATE (Ranjeet Singh) was observed to have burst its blood vessel during the race. In terms of Calendar Notification, it will not be permitted to race for a period of four weeks (1^st time bleeder) and only after passing satisfactory a bleeders test, it will be permitted to race.  Trainer Mr.S.H.Abbas was accordingly advised.
